疫情特殊时期欧盟公告号对防护面罩ce认证也可采用疫情特殊法规，缩短认证周期，但该认证仅适用于COVID-19的防护使用，且有效期仅有一年。详情可咨询认证工程师。

There is a second scenario, which is to carry out the COVID-19 eye protection certification. It is a temporally certification for covering only the risk againt COVID 19 virus. The validity is for one year. It is a certification method based on EN 166 but the mechanical requirements are less as more protectors made with deformable materials can be adjusted. When a face shield can be easy deformed, the possibilitu for not meeting the mechanical strength requirements of EN 166 is high, but it more easy to meet the mechanical propierties of COVID-19. This case only applies to Face Shields.
