割草机（Lawn mower）又称除草机、剪草机、草坪修剪机等。割草机是一种用于修剪草坪、植被等的机械工具，它是由刀盘、发动机、行走轮、行走机构、刀片、扶手、控制部分组成。刀盘装在行走轮上，刀盘上装有发动机，发动机的输出轴上装有刀片，刀片利用发动机的高速旋转在速度方面提高很多，节省了除草工人的作业时间，减少了大量的人力资源。

3、EN 745:1999+A1:2009适用范围：
This standard specifies specific safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of rotary mowers and flail-mowers with one or several vertical axes or a horizontal axis, mounted, semi-mounted, trailed or self-propelled. This standard is also applicable to mowers equipped with a conditioning device. This standard applies only to mowers intended to work at ground level.
NOTE 1 Examples of such machines are given in annex D.1. It does not apply to: mowers with an articulated arm;
本标准规定了旋转式割草机和连枷式割草机的具体安全要求及其验证，这些割草机具有一个或多个垂直轴或一个水平轴，安装式、半安装式、牵引式或自推进式。本标准也适用于配有调节装置的割草机。本标准仅适用于在地面工作的割草机。
注1：附录D.1中给出了此类机器的示例。它不适用于：带铰接臂的割草机；
