This European Standard specifies safety requirements and test methods for products which are intended for the purpose of carrying a child in a lying position by means of handle(s) and for stands which may be used in conjunction with these products. These products are intended for a child who cannot sit unaided, roll over or push up on its hands and knees, with a maximum weight of 9 kg. Hereafter, in this European Standard these articles are called "carry cots" and include all types of carry cots with rigid or soft sides as well as moses baskets and any similar articles. Any other functions of the product shall comply with relevant European standards. 本欧洲标准规定了通过手柄将儿童以躺着姿势抱起的婴儿手推车以及可与这些婴儿手推车一起使用的支架的安全要求和试验方法。这些婴儿手推车适用于不能独自坐着、不能翻身或不能用手和膝盖俯卧撑的儿童，最大重量为9公斤。此后，在本欧洲标准中，这些物品被称为“搬运床”，包括所有类型的带有硬边或软边的搬运床，以及摩西篮子和任何类似物品。婴儿手推车的任何其他功能应符合相关欧洲标准。
